The International Association of the Vallée du Dropt is the new name for what was previously known as the International Association of St Pierre sur Dropt started by Alison Best.

The reason behind the name change is that the majority of our members live outside of St Pierre so this is more inclusive and also gives us the opportunity to hold bigger events outside of the village. Through this change we are looking to build even further on the great foundations Alison started.

​

St Pierre sur Dropt remains the “headquarters” and all existing classes and majority of events will continue to take place here. We are looking to hold some events in other locations around the Dropt valley to allow even more people to enjoy them.

​

Our aim is to embrace the richness of the different nationalities and cultures of the people in this wonderful region of the communes around the Dropt Vallée, all whilst supporting national and local charities.

​

We hope that through our classes, clubs and events we can bring together a vibrant multi-national community of members to celebrate our differences and learn as much as possible about them and this beautiful country in which we have all chosen to live whether full-time or as a second home.
